Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Overview:
We are looking for a Technician in Electronics or Instrumentation who is willing to work and perform on-site maintenance, calibration, and repair of IoT devices related to environmental monitoring. The ideal candidate should have strong networking and IoT communication skills, be comfortable with frequent site visits, and have proficiency in English for effective technical communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform installation, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of IoT-based environmental monitoring devices.
Conduct on-site visits to inspect, repair, and optimize device performance.
Ensure proper communication and networking of IoT sensors and gateways.
Collaborate with the technical team to diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance and calibration activities.
Assist in testing and quality control of devices before deployment.
Provide basic training and support to end-users on device operation.
Desired Candidate Profile

Diploma in Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field (Freshers are welcome).
Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, Modbus, RS485, MQTT, etc.).
Knowledge of IoT communication protocols and cloud-based device connectivity.
Strong English communication skills (verbal and written) for reporting and coordination.
Willingness for site visits frequently.
Valid driving license and ability to drive for site visits.
Self-motivated, eager to learn, and adapt to new technologies.
Preferred Skills (Added Advantage):

Hands-on experience with sensor calibration and environmental monitoring equipment.
Knowledge of Linux-based systems, microcontrollers, or embedded programming.
Understanding of IoT security and remote monitoring.
Ability to troubleshoot hardware and firmware issues in embedded systems.
