Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget.
Develop design concepts, mood boards, sketches, and space plans.
Create detailed drawings and 3D visualizations using software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max.
Select appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories.
Prepare and present design proposals and material samples for client approval.
Coordinate with architects, contractors, suppliers, and project managers.
Ensure designs comply with safety standards, regulations, and building codes.
Monitor project progress and conduct site visits to ensure design implementation.
Stay updated with trends, materials, and technologies in interior design.
The Interior Designer is responsible for conceptualizing and creating functional, aesthetic, and innovative interior spaces based on client requirements. The role involves planning layouts, selecting materials and furnishings, and managing the design process from concept to completion while ensuring compliance with applicable codes and client budgets.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
3–10 years of experience in residential, commercial, or hospitality interior design.
Strong knowledge of design principles, materials, and finishes.
Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp,Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
Excellent communication, presentation, and project coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
Strong portfolio showcasing completed design projects.
Knowledge of furniture design and custom detailing.
