Job Description

Our client, a prestigious university based in Ras Al Khaimah is looking for Head/Lead/Manager Quality Assurance.
The Quality Assurance (QA) Lead/Head/Manager is responsible for overseeing the university’s quality assurance framework, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and institutional policies. The role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring quality assurance processes to enhance academic and administrative excellence.
Job responsibilities
1. Quality Assurance & Compliance
Develop, implement, and maintain the university's Quality Assurance (QA) policies, procedures, and frameworks in line with national and international accreditation standards.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory bodies such as the UAE Ministry of Education (MOE), Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA), and other accreditation agencies.
Monitor and review academic and operational processes to ensure continuous improvement in line with best practices.
Conduct internal quality audits and risk assessments to identify areas for enhancement.

2. Accreditation & Institutional Effectiveness
Lead institutional and programmatic accreditation processes, preparing reports and documentation for accreditation bodies.
Collaborate with academic departments to ensure that curriculum, assessment, and learning outcomes align with accreditation standards.
Manage data collection, analysis, and reporting related to institutional effectiveness and student learning outcomes.
Oversee the implementation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensure their alignment with institutional goals.

3. Continuous Improvement & Training
Develop and implement quality enhancement initiatives to improve academic and administrative performance.
Organize training sessions and workshops for faculty and staff on quality assurance standards, assessment techniques, and accreditation requirements.
Promote a culture of continuous quality improvement across the university.

4. Data Management & Reporting
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of quality assurance data for internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain documentation related to accreditation, quality audits, and compliance reports.
Prepare and present reports to senior management on QA findings, improvements, and recommendations.

5. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
Act as a liaison between the university and external accreditation bodies, regulatory agencies, and industry partners.
Collaborate with faculty, administration, and students to foster a shared commitment to quality assurance principles.
Establish feedback mechanisms to assess student satisfaction and institutional performance.
