Roles & Responsibilities

Perform complex surgical procedures with precision, focusing on minimally invasive techniques to enhance patient recovery.
Lead multidisciplinary teams in the preoperative assessment, surgical planning, and postoperative care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Conduct thorough preoperative evaluations, including diagnostic tests and patient histories, to formulate effective treatment plans.
Stay current with advancements in surgical technology and methodologies, implementing innovative practices to improve surgical efficacy.
Educate and mentor junior surgical staff and medical students, fostering a culture of learning and professional development.
Manage surgical wards, ensuring high standards of care and addressing any complications that arise during patient recovery.
Engage in clinical research initiatives, contributing to the advancement of surgical practices and publication of findings in reputable journals.
Communicate effectively with patients and their families, explaining surgical procedures, risks, and expected outcomes with clarity and empathy.

Desired Candidate Profile

Board certification in General Surgery, demonstrating advanced knowledge and competency in surgical practices.
Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with specialization in General Surgery from an accredited institution.
Experience in a tertiary care hospital setting, showcasing proficiency in managing a diverse patient population with complex surgical needs.
Preferred nationality: Open to diverse nationalities, with a focus on candidates familiar with local healthcare systems.
