Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Civil /Mechanical Engineer to join our team and lead the planning, design, and execution of water infrastructure , distribution projects. The successful candidate will work on projects such as water supply systems, wastewater treatment plants, drainage networks, storm & waste water drainage systems, and flood mitigation solutions. The role requires technical expertise, project management skills, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop designs and construction plans for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
Conduct site investigations, surveys, and assessments for project planning.
Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, design calculations, and cost estimates.
Ensure designs comply with local regulations, codes, and environmental standards.
Coordinate with project managers, environmental scientists, contractors, and government agencies.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Support permitting and approval processes with regulatory authorities.
Oversee construction activities, provide technical support, and ensure quality control.
Identify and resolve engineering challenges during project execution.
Implement sustainable and resilient water engineering solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within a reasonable time frame.
3–7 years of experience in water-related civil /Mechanical engineering projects.
Strong understanding of hydraulic modeling, water treatment processes, and pipeline design.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, EPANET, or similar design and modeling software.
Familiarity with local and national standards (e.g., AWWA, EPA, ASCE guidelines).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with green infrastructure ,rehabilitation or demolishing ,maintenance projects.
Knowledge of permitting processes for water projects.
Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
Work Environment:
Primarily office-based with occasional field work.
Travel to project sites and meetings with clients and stakeholders as needed.
