Cell Leader / Mold Setter

Supervise and coordinate activities of machine operators and other team members in the production cell.
Ensure production schedules are met, and downtime is minimized.
Monitor quality of products and ensure compliance with specifications.
Train and mentor team members to improve skills and performance.
Enforce safety procedures and promote a safe working environment.
Communicate production issues or delays to supervisors or maintenance.
Maintain accurate documentation of production output and incidents.
Install and remove molds on injection molding machines according to production schedules.
Set up machines, make adjustments, and perform startups to ensure optimal performance.
Ensure molds are properly clamped, connected, and maintained.
Troubleshoot mold, machine, and process issues during production.
Perform routine maintenance on molds and tooling equipment.
Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams for repairs and improvements.

High school diploma or technical certification; associate degree preferred.
3+ years of experience in injection molding, including mold setting and team leadership.
Strong understanding of injection molding machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment.
Ability to read technical drawings, specifications, and use measurement tools.
Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, if required.
