Job Description

Manage daily cash transactions and ensure accuracy in cash handling to maintain financial integrity.
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports by compiling data from various transactions and accounts.
Process customer payments and refunds efficiently while ensuring compliance with company policies.
Maintain and update financial records in accounting software, ensuring all entries are timely and error-free.
Reconcile bank statements and cash registers daily to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
Support the accounts payable and receivable functions by processing invoices and following up on outstanding payments.
Prepare and distribute financial statements to relevant departments, providing insights as needed.
Assist in the audit process by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries from auditors.
Liaise with government authorities on tax compliance and preparation of necessary submissions and reports.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to payments and billing.
Collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes and improve financial reporting accuracy.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred to ensure foundational knowledge.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or cashier role, demonstrating a solid understanding of financial operations.
Experience in a retail or service industry is advantageous, providing insights into cash handling and customer service.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics, Tally) is essential for managing financial records effectively.
Fluency in English is required; additional language skills can be beneficial in diverse environments.
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail are critical for accurate data entry and financial reporting.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn new processes and technologies to enhance efficiency.
